Herewith is an Open License and Permission for all musicians and teachers to use any and all of the Force and d'Ossché copywritten and published materials-- including all songs, music, lyrics, excerpts from books, publications, teaching methodologies and respective, accompanying handouts produced for same. This license also permits the live performance of Force and d'Ossché songs and compositions.

This permission extends to the right to copy, create handouts and to distribute Force and d'Ossché copywritten materials directly to students, at no charge, for their exclusive and personal use at music festivals, workshops, clubs, societies, gatherings and, in general, wherever and whenever the oral tradition of passing along folk music is taking place provided the proper credit for copywrite appears on the reproduced and/or recompiled documents.

This license does not extend to the inclusion of these materials in any publication or portion thereof which is sold for profit or otherwise portends to be of a commercial nature. Kindly direct inquiries to do so to the address below.

It is understood that a teacher using these instructional materials or an artist performing Force and d'Ossché compositions are and should be paid for their individual efforts. Using Force and d'Ossché materials in this context, and receiving sole remuneration therefrom, is not a violation of this Open Licensing.

It is the intent of this document to provide permission to those who would wish to perform or instruct using these materials to be allowed to do so without fear of being in jeopardy of copywrite violation. This document is particularly for the information of the directors of Folk Music Festivals where safeguarding artist's rights is one of your concerns. Thank you for your diligent efforts on all of our behalfs!
